Apple has announced their financial results for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2018 (third quarter calendar) and it was a solid overall performance. The Cupertino giant posted $62.9 billion in revenue for the quarter with profits of $14.1 billion. That is a significant increase of the respective $52.6 billion and $10.7 billion for the same quarter in 2017. Indeed, the company hit all-time highs for revenue, profit, and Earnings Per Share (EPS).
Digging further into the top line of the Apple Quarterly Report, gross margin for the quarter was 38.3% for the quarter (compared to 37.9% for the same quarter in 2017). All of this brought the announcement during the earnings call that there would be a dividend payment of $.073 per share. That dividend will be payed on November 15th for stockholders of record as of November 12.
