Real Racing 3, the long time popular racing sim app for iOS, has a new update rolling out that brings some exciting updates. Most notably, the Austin, Texas based Circuit of the Americas has made its debut in the game. Fans of the game can now race COTA when they race updated content in the game. That, right now is limited but likely will expand over time.
Circuit of the Americas hosts a wide range of real world racing events including MotoGP and Formula 1.
In addition to COTA now being in Real Racing 3, seven new cars have arrived in the racing sim along with it. Five of the new cars are from Nissan
- 1969 240z
- 1992 300zx
- 1997 Skyline GT-R V-Spec
- 2018 370z Nismo
- 2018 GT-R Nismo
All of these cars are available for purchase with in-game credits (gold).
Two more cars, the Ferrari FXXK EVO and the 1958 Porsche 178, are available in limited series within the game. These cars will unlock in those series if you complete them, or if you wait a few months until the game allows you to purchase them outright.
Real Racing 3 has been around since February 2013 and remains one of the best racing sim games for iOS and Android. While it certainly has an arcade feel to it at times, it is mostly about your ability to drive a car around a wide range of circuits around the world.
The game itself is a free download in the App Store with several in-app purchases available.
