Homecourt, the basketball training app that was featured in the iPhone XS keynote last month, has been updated with its new, AR-driven feature “Shot Science”. Using Augmented Reality and Machine Learning, Homecourt can now provide you detailed shot analysis to help you get better at making basketball shots.
Homecourt has been in the App Store since earlier this year but is one of the best examples of how useful AR can be in apps. This is particularly true of sports training apps.
If you have Homecourt installed now then the update to add “Shot Science” is available for you in the App Store. In order to get the feature, you have to be a Pro subscriber which is $7.99 per month or $69.99 per year.
Also, for Pro subscribers, there is no AR shot limit per month while free users will still be limited to 300 shots per month.
If you want to download the Homecourt app, you can do so here in the App Store.
