One of the great features of the Apple Watch are Complications. Complications are little widgets of information that you can add to most watch faces on your Watch to give you more detailed information. These can be standard things like Activity, Calendar and Mail but also can be from apps that you have installed on your Watch.
The problem with this, however, is that if you have a lot of complications installed and you want to customize your watch face, you have to navigate your way through them to find the one you want. That can be a lot of swiping up and down if you have a lot of them. Fortunately it is easy to remove complications without having to uninstall an app from your Apple Watch.
First, open up the Watch app on your iPhone which will show you the My Watch page. The first option underneath where your available watch faces is the option Complications.
Tap that option and it will bring up all of the Complications you have available to you on your watch. In the upper right corner, there is the Edit option. Tap it and this will give you the option to tap and delete any Complication on the list.
In my case, I know that I will never use the Tile Complication or the Marriott one. I just tap the red icon by that name and then tap the delete button. That’s it. Now when I setup a watch face and choose the Complications I want on that face, I will have a shortened list without Tile or Marriott.
