Apple has announced this morning the countries and dates of availability for the three new iPhones announced last month. As readers know, the new iPhone XR pre-orders start this Friday, October 19 with availability starting on October 26. These dates are not much of a mystery given Apple laid them out in the Apple event keynote last month.
However, the bigger question on was where and when it would be available globally. Now have a much clearer picture. On October 26, it will be available in over 50 countries including Albania, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Herzegovina, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the UAE, UK, US and US Virgin Islands.
Further, it will be available in Israel on November 1 while Armenia, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Ukraine and Vietnam can pick it up starting November 2.
As for the iPhone XS and XS Max, customers in Chile, Colombia, Malaysia and Thailand can pick one up starting October 26. Starting November 2, it will be available in South Korea and 10 additional countries.
The new iPhone XR is expected to be a hit globally with many analysts predicting that it and the iPhone XS Max will be the clear iPhones of choice for users who are looking for a new phone through the rest of 2018 and into 2019.
