I’m going to assume for a minute that most readers here at AverageAppleGuy have already obtained the new default wallpaper from macOS Ventura. The wallpapers, both in light and dark versions, have been floating around various Apple sites for the past several weeks. But if you haven’t had a chance to download them or you have been looking for them in 5K, we have you covered.
Below I have attached both the light and dark versions of the wallpaper for your viewing pleasure. Both images measure 6016×6016, making them perfect for your macOS Monterey-running Mac, your iPad and even your iPhone. To download the wallpapers, just right-click the image and click Save Image As… to save it your your desktop. If you are on your iPhone or iPad, just tap-and-hold the image and then save it to your device.
macOS 13, or Ventura, is expected to be released later this year by Apple and will be compatible with most iMac, MacBooks, and Mac mini from 2017 or 2018 and newer. The biggest new feature for many is Stage Manager, a feature that is also coming to iPadOS 16, which allows for automatic organization of your apps and windows in a single view on any Mac, so you can stay focused while easily moving between tasks. To learn more about Ventura, head over to Apple’s preview site for it.
