The Microsoft To-Do app for iPhone and iPad has a new update rolling out that brings a handful of improvements. The update was release earlier this week so if you have the app installed, you likely already have the update to version 1.39.1.
The bulk of the update centers around tweaks in how you use the app and some under-the-hood improvements to improve syncing. For this version Microsoft has indicated that synching is now faster on newly created lists and better voiceover support when you are completing tasks.
From a usability perspective, Microsoft To-Do will now allow you to easily and quickly move a task from one list to another in the app. Just swipe to the left on a task and you will now see two options: The blue “add to my day” option (which has always been there) and a new yellow “task list” option. Tap that option and you will be able to move a task to any of your lists that you have created in the app.
If you are looking for a solid performing task list manager, take a look at Microsoft To-Do. It is free, can sync up tasks from your Exchange, Office 365, or personal Microsoft account, and works across multiple platforms like iOS and Android. It is a free download in the App Store.
