PBS Launches Free Streams From Select Stations

The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) has announced that it will be providing free live streaming of some of its member stations throughout the United States. The update means that you can now stream PBS content through their app on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Roku or Android devices.

In total there are 85 stations that are available via live stream with more expected to be added. The team over at Cord Cutters News has put together the entire list of stations that are available which includes:

  • WEIQ in Birmingham-Anniston-Tuscaloosa, AL
  • KAKM in Anchorage, AK
  • KUAT-TV in Tucson, AZ
  • KAFT in Little Rock, AR
  • KLRU in Austin, TX
  • KBDI-TV in Denver, CO
  • WEDH in Hartford-New Haven, CT
  • WTVS in Detroit, MI
  • WKOP-TV in Knoxville, TN
  • WILL-TV in Champaign-Springfield-Decatur, IL
  • KIIN in Des Moines-Ames, IA
  • KAMU-TV in Waco-Temple-Bryan, TX
  • KCPT in Kansas City, MO
  • KCTS-TV in Seattle-Tacoma, WA
  • KEDT in Corpus Christi, TX
  • KIXE-TV in Chico-Redding, CA
  • KLRN in San Antonio, TX
  • KMOS-TV in Kansas City, MO
  • KNPB in Reno, NV
  • KPBS in San Diego, CA
  • KPTS in Wichita-Hutchinson, KS
  • KRWG-TV in El Paso (Las Cruces), TX
