The day is finally here! Today is the big Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple campus in Cupertino, California. While attendance to the event is invite only, Apple has made it very easy to watch the event live so you don’t miss out. This is going to be a big event so set aside a couple of hours for it if you plan to watch.
First, let’s go over times. The event is schedule to start at 10:00 am Pacific here in the US. That breaks down to 1:00 pm Eastern time for those on the East coast. For those of you in London, the event starts at 6:00 pm. Here are some further time break downs:
- Berlin 7:00 pm
- Moscow: 8:00 pm
- Beijing: 1:00 am on September 13th
- Tokyo: 2:00 am on September 13th
- Sydney 3:00 am on September 13th
When it comes to actually watching the Apple Event, you have a lot of choices. First, and the easiest for those who have an Apple TV, you can simply tune in to the Special Events app on your device. If you don’t have an Apple TV or can’t access it, the Apple Special Events page will be your place to go. You can find it here and it will be updated later this morning to reflect today’s event.
Finally, and for the first time, you can stream the event on Twitter. Apple has made a big push on this the last couple of days and if you like their Tweet, they will send you an update when the event is to begin so you can stream it from the social network.
