Apple Store Update - March 18

Unsurprisingly, The Apple Store is Offline

In what should be absolutely no shock to Apple followers and fans, the online Apple Store has gone offline this morning. The online store always goes dark a few hours prior to a major Apple event in which new products will be launched. Today’s Time Flies event is no exception.

At today’s Apple Event, it is widely expected that we will see a healthy dose of new products from the Cupertino company. These likely will be things like:

  • Updated iPad Air
  • Apple Watch Series 6
  • Apple Watch SE
  • Apple AirTags

There are also rumors to suggest we will see an updated entry level iPad and perhaps the entry level iPhone 12. For sure we should get a release date of iOS 14 and odds are good that Apple’s new Apple One bundled service will be launched too.

If history is any indicator, the Apple Store will remain offline until roughly the midway point of the Apple Event today. By that time, we should have all the product announcements completed and you’ll be able to go back into the store to order new products or start doing configurations of new products to see how much it will cost when they do go on sale.
